Antarā : The Shala

Antara is a curated space on Marine Drive, built by Rohan and Eleanor for a small circle of practitioners across yoga, breathwork, sound, and meditation. It exists at the meeting point of business and spirituality as a home for intentional experiences rather than performative wellness. Each offering at Antara is led by a named practitioner, not a franchise format: sessions that recur, workshops that arrive periodically, and experimental one-offs that may become part of the rhythm. What holds it together is intent, not intensity. Antara is meant for every-body, in the sense that no one is ever too far along, or not far along enough, to belong here. The space itself is quiet and unhurried by design: natural light, texture, and the contrast of Marine Drive's motion just outside the door. Community here isn't a byproduct of classes, it's the point. Antara asks its guests to move away from drop-in culture and toward something closer to a practice held over time, together.
