Keep messages and music close with a capsule that fits your screen. Give it a try!
Keep notifications, music controls and live progress in an interactive capsule
Bring active notifications and music closer to hand with Dynamic Notch. A compact, expandable notification capsule sits near your front camera, giving you quick access to the activity your apps share. READ, OPEN AND REPLY Expand the capsule to read available notification details, open the source app or use its original actions. Reply in place when the notification provides a reply action. See progress published by supported download and activity notifications. Active entries follow their source notifications instead of building a message history. KEEP PLAYBACK CLOSE See the title, artist and artwork your player makes available. Pause, play, skip or seek when the active media session supports those controls. Choose between available players without hunting through apps. Playback indicators reflect player state. MAKE IT FIT YOUR PHONE Start with Minimal, Balanced or Wide, then adjust the position, width, height and camera clearance. Customize the capsule shape, colors, artwork and text size. Save different appearance profiles and choose reduced motion when you prefer calmer transitions. CHOOSE WHAT APPEARS Filter notification sources and hide the capsule over selected foreground apps. Set landscape, full-screen and lock-screen behavior. Keep an idle capsule visible or hide it between activities. Pause from the app or an Android Quick Settings tile, and resume when you want it back. SET UP AT YOUR PACE Explore the labeled interactive message, music and progress demos before connecting the capsule. Separate setup steps explain notification access and the accessibility service. Review connection status, revisit setup, and export or restore your looks and app rules with Android's document picker. ACCESSIBILITYSERVICE API Dynamic Notch uses Android's AccessibilityService API to display its interactive notification and music capsule over other apps, near the front camera and status bar. This access is needed for the capsule display feature. Dynamic Notch is a notification customization utility, not an accessibility tool designed primarily for people with disabilities. The service receives the package name of the foreground app to hide the capsule over apps you exclude. It also checks system bar and keyboard visibility to apply your display rules. Foreground app events are used temporarily on your device, not saved as a browsing or app-usage history and not sent to the developer. The accessibility service cannot retrieve screen content. It does not read screen text or text you type in other apps, capture your screen, simulate gestures or automate actions in other apps. Notification details and playback controls come through separate notification access and Android media APIs, not by reading other apps' screens. Before you enable the service, Dynamic Notch shows a separate in-app disclosure explaining its purpose and data use and asks for your agreement before opening Android Settings. You decide whether to enable it and can disable it at any time in Android's Accessibility settings. You can explore the in-app demos without enabling the service.
