The Sierra version of Summit Control lacks many of the features that the previous version had. Customer service is a joke.
Using this app was forced upon me when my apartment complex added gates. Reasons I hate it. If my phone has a dead battery, is broken or stolen I can't leave or come home. This app is a data harvester. There is no need for it to access voice, video or contacts. I could understand location if the gate would open automatically when I approached the it, which it doesn't. It's Android Auto is a joke. I've only got it to work once. I will be leaving this complex once my lease is up due to this app.

The old app was much better functioning. My gate won't latch open despite using the toggle multiple times, support page in-app is constantly reloading making it impossible to see the number. I don't understand why all users were forced to migrate to a new app that is objectively worse than the old one.

The Android Auto version of this application is not usable in present state. it requires you to stop the vehicle, get your phone out and activate the application on your phone before the Android Auto application will let you open the gate. its easier to pull up to the gate and put in the pin code on the gate keypad. tech support told me it was a new issue they hadn't seen before. I pointed out that there were many appstore reviews stating the issue. they said updates to fix forthcoming. when?

Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. Crashes CONSTANTLY and every time I go to open my gate I have to hit and hold "open gate" multiple times
