Track dated corn cash bids from the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (USDA AMS) Illinois Grain Bids report (MyMarketNews report 3192). Corn Price Today presents a report-date Illinois indicator in U.S. dollars per bushel (USD/bu). The value is paired with the USDA report date, a link to the source, and the observed range of eligible bids. How the indicator is calculated For each report date, the app takes the simple, unweighted average of eligible “Current” corn “Bid” rows quoted in USD per bushel. Each row contributes equally; the result is not volume-weighted. This is a dated regional cash-bid indicator. It is not a live quote, futures price, guaranteed transaction price, quote from one elevator, or national average. USDA reports may not be available every calendar day, and the displayed date may differ from today. Local bid prices and terms can vary by location, delivery, quality, and freight. The calculator uses only the quantity and bid you enter; it does not copy the displayed USDA indicator into your calculation. One U.S. corn bushel equals 56 pounds (about 25.401 kilograms).
