Inspect and edit binary files. Save a separate copy and verify the result.
Open a binary file, find the bytes you need, change them and save a separate verified copy.
The hex view shows offsets, bytes and text together. Files are read a page at a time, so the app does not load the whole file just to scroll. Search for a hex pattern or text and review every match. Jump by hexadecimal, decimal or relative offset. Extract printable strings. Inspect signed and unsigned integers, floats, bits, UTF-8 and UTF-16 in little or big endian. Hash a file or selection with MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256 or CRC32, with progress and cancellation.
Editing starts only after an explicit unlock. Change history lists every modified offset with its old and new byte, plus per-row revert, undo and redo. Saving always creates a new file in a folder you choose. The app opens the written file again and compares its length and SHA-256 before reporting success. It does not overwrite the original.
The full read, search, inspect, hash, same-length byte edit and verified-save loop is free. Three built-in templates and five named bookmarks are free.
A one-time Pro purchase adds file and snapshot comparison, insert and delete edits, IPS and BPS patch export and unlimited named bookmarks. Patch export accepts original and modified inputs up to 16 MiB each in this version.
No account, ads or cloud upload. Files, edits, hashes, bookmarks and saved copies are handled on the device. Google Play services the optional purchase. Android system pickers control which files and folders the app can reach; the app does not claim access to protected Android/data paths.
