it's shutting down, don't bother
app has been decent and had taken a fair chunk of my wallet, but they're abandoning the app come next year so ... thanks while it lasted and once again without a reader app...
we will miss you
insane that you are just going to take all the money you earned from making users pay for stories they want to read, just to take that away. seems like you should be giving out some kind of refund. Just seems super shady to the users and the authors. seems like that's just asking for a lawsuit.
I'll miss this app 😭
alright so why not have Naver webtoon buy y'all out instead and just merge?

they are shutting down and not allowing users to keep what they paid for.
Sold the app and now Im going to lose access to all the comics I bought through it. I hope they get sued.
I haven't used the app in a while and I download it again only for my login to not work and for some reason their not accepting new sign ins. I tried the send password option but it won't work.

“At this point just become a subscription service, at least that would be a straight forward money suck instead of this dribble nightmare.”
“So, unfortunately, I say to move along as the app is no longer worth the download as it is now, maybe we'll get a miracle to help Tapas survive past the EOS …”
“One good update since I downloaded has been the addition of an ad for an episode feature, but that's a maximum of three per day, and only for certain comics.”
“Im giving this app a 1 star rating because one, it keeps freezing on me.”
“Like, its nearly impossible to navigate.”
“App has been crashing lately, not loading anything and it's getting very annoying.”

“the app is simple and easy to use, great way to find new comics and is pretty popular.”
A drop after an update usually means the update broke something.
