Thot is an AI-powered assistant that floats over every app on your Android device. One tap gives you explanations, summaries, drafted replies, and custom AI tasks — all powered by whatever is currently on your screen. Most AI apps make you copy-paste. Thot reads the screen for you. 🤖 HOW IT WORKS • An Accessibility Service reads the visible text from your current app window. • A floating button (overlay) appears over every app — tap it any time. • Choose Explain, Summarize, Suggest Reply, Write for me, or enter a Custom task. • Thot dispatches your request to your chosen AI provider and returns the answer inline. No copy-pasting. No switching apps. No losing context. 🔌 MULTI-PROVIDER SUPPORT Thot works with: • Anthropic Claude (claude-sonnet) — nuanced reasoning, long context • OpenAI GPT-4o — fast, capable, widely supported • Local (offline) — rule-based fallback, no internet required Switch providers in Settings at any time. Your API key stays on your device. 🗂️ WORKS EVERYWHERE Thot activates over Gmail, WhatsApp, Chrome, LinkedIn, YouTube, banking apps, PDF readers — any app on your phone.
