16 Oct 2026 next day, crashing again! I noticed it happened after I tried to send a 4 second video in a group chat, same video that triggered it yesterday. This is hasn't been an issue before. now "Textra keeps stopping, close app" 15 Oct 2026 crashing, "Textra keeps stopping, close app", popping up non-stop, so I cleared cache, no go, and had to back up the app, and uninstall. now working again! I like this app :) June 2025 crashing. was working perfectly. now not even able to open app.

The number of trackers textra has is staggering. One of the worst I've ever seen actually. Disable ALL Internet activity. The app doesn't need it. It will also eliminate all of their trashy ads.

my wife and I have the same phone using the same version of this app. we both have messages that over a year old. her phone using this app deletes recently received messages from certain contacts... what's the problem?

This USED TO BE a decent App. Now it SUCKS. You CAN'T SEND VIDEOS. The update has caused issues with sending photos and textras reply is it's the providers fault. It worked (at least photos It never works with video) before the update and failed after the update how is that the providers fault? I reinstalled the older APK and it works. until you admit it's your fault you'll never fix it. Another good app ruined by developers who don't care. Update I have emailed more than once with no reply.

Awesome app, but I notice something inappropriate when sending a text with many emoji's the app get freeze, another issue is when sending bulk text it doesn't finish some get failed.
