When first opening the app, users are introduced to the basic structure of the intertidal zone. The shore is divided into different levels that are covered and uncovered by water at different times. The Guide section in Roobet Tidepocket contains a reference collection of coastal species. It includes cards for crabs, anemones, starfish, fish, and other marine life. Each entry provides a name and additional information to help users distinguish between species during exploration. A search field and category filters make the guide easier to navigate. Users can browse individual groups of marine life or filter entries according to shore zone. This provides quick access to a particular category without having to browse the entire guide.
