WRITE, ORGANIZE AND CONNECT
Bring notes, notebooks, checklist tasks and calendar events together in one local workspace. Write in Markdown and connect related notes with wiki-links and backlinks. Your notes work offline.
TURN NOTES INTO PLANS
Checklist tasks can have due dates and appear in Tasks and Calendar. Keep ideas and the next steps together in the note they came from. Reminders depend on Android permissions and device settings.
NOW IN INTERNAL AND CLOSED TESTING
Read equations, supported Mermaid diagrams, tables, footnotes and highlighted code. Switch between formatted editing, reading and Markdown source. Complex Markdown blocks stay protected while you edit the text around them, with Edit source for changes to the block itself. Export a Markdown vault ZIP with notebook folders and attachments and recover links when importing edited files. Print equations and diagrams to PDF. Screenshots show a testing build; these newer features reach testing before the public release.
FREE APP
The free app includes notes, notebooks, tasks, calendar, reminders and backup/export. Free has no limit on the number of notes or notebooks. Free allows up to five attachments per note and shows the three most recent saved versions of a note. Features marked Pro in screenshots require Pro. NotesGalore has no subscription and shows no ads.
LOCAL STORAGE AND BACKUPS
Notes and attachments are stored locally. Optional Google Drive sync sends encrypted notes and attachments to your own Google account after you explicitly connect it. Access is currently limited to authorized Google OAuth test accounts. Keep manual backups for recovery; no NotesGalore-hosted sync service is included. Markdown export is a snapshot, not a live folder or an exact backup.
Purchase validation sends an anonymous app user ID and purchase records to RevenueCat when you open the upgrade screen, restore or buy, and at each launch once you have Pro, an earlier purchase or a started purchase. Supported Android image attachments can use on-device Latin-script text recognition. Google's ML Kit library sends Google information about the device, the app and the library's performance; NotesGalore does not currently limit that. See the privacy policy for details.
