Stability and reliability improvements.
No real radio reception — all signals are simulated.
No real radio reception — all signals are simulated. Turn a heavy bakelite knob on a walnut tube receiver and let simulated signals rise out of the static. Shortwave Radio Simulator is a small tuning pastime for people who love vintage radios, warm tube hum and the hiss between stations. What you can do - Tune with a weighty flywheel knob and a fine-tuning knob, and watch the magic eye close as a signal comes in - Switch between five dial bands; each band opens and fades with your local time of day - Use the BFO to hear Morse beacons as a tone, the filter to narrow the passband, and the beat whistle that falls as you approach a signal - Find 24 invented signals: Morse beacons with original messages, fictional numbers-station-style tone signals, interval-signal melodies, data bursts and signals that only appear at night - Hold a signal steady to light the LOG lamp and keep a card in your logbook - A paper tape prints Morse letters as they are keyed, if you want help - The sleep timer fades the sound like a radio switching off Made for relaxed listening - Every sound is synthesized in real time; there are no recordings and no real broadcasts - Each day has its own simulated propagation, so come back at night to find different signals - Volume limit, vibration and sound options in settings - Sound stops when you leave the app This is a simulator for entertainment. It cannot receive any real station.
