Rev a car engine with a real-feel throttle, rev limiter and backfire pops
Engine Rev Simulator turns your phone into a 2D instrument cluster with car engine sounds. Pick an engine, press START and slide the throttle: the tachometer needle and the engine sound follow your finger right away. Made for people who love the sound of an engine bouncing off the rev limiter, without laggy audio. How it works • Finger position = throttle opening. Let go and the revs fall back with natural flywheel inertia. • Hit the redline and the rev limiter cuts in with the classic bouncing sound. • Lift off at high rpm for optional backfire pops and crackles. • The engine sound is a continuous loop that changes pitch smoothly with rpm. No 5-second clips, no gaps. Engines • I4 Hatchback, I4 Turbo, V6 Sedan, V8 Muscle, Diesel Pickup and Rotary are ready from the start. • Two bonus engines, Flat-6 Sports and V12 Grand Tourer, unlock for good after one short optional ad. • No energy bars, timers or daily limits. Realistic cluster • Chrome-ringed tachometer with red zone, shift light and digital readout. • Live oil temperature gauge (boost gauge on turbo engines) and an IDLE / REV / LIMIT status light. • Dark and light themes, large text support, portrait and landscape. Respectful by design • No ads while the engine is running. • Sound stops the moment you leave the app. • Volume limit and a loud-sound reminder. • No special permissions: no microphone, camera or location. All engine sounds are synthesized in the app from a simple firing-pulse model. They are not recordings of any real vehicle, and no vehicle brand or model is represented.
