Christmas carols on a hand-cranked brass music box crowned with a snow globe
Crank Music Box is a realistic walnut music box with a glass snow globe on its lid. Turn the handle with your finger and the carol plays at exactly the speed you turn it: faster when you crank faster, stopping when you stop, and the pitch never changes. Wind the key instead and the box plays on its own, slowing down gently as the spring runs out, just like a real one. How it works - Crank mode: drag the handle on the right in a circle. One turn per second is the original tempo, from 25% to 250%. - Wind-up mode: turn the key on the left. One turn plays for about a minute, up to 30 minutes. - Wind-up mode keeps playing with the screen off or while you use other apps, with a notification to stop it or skip to the next song. - Sleep timer: 10 to 90 minutes. In the last 30 seconds the music slows down and fades out, then everything stops. Christmas songs and classics - 29 melodies in 4 albums: Christmas, Classical, Classic Lullabies and Japan. - Jingle Bells, Silent Night, O Christmas Tree, Deck the Halls, Joy to the World, O Holy Night, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, O Come All Ye Faithful, The First Noel, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Good King Wenceslas, Up on the Housetop, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Auld Lang Syne and more. - Classics such as Für Elise, Canon in D, Clair de lune, Gymnopédie, Greensleeves and Brahms' Lullaby. - Every melody is a public domain classic or traditional carol, with the composer and year shown in the song list. No lyrics. - Continuous play, repeat one and shuffle, with only a short pause between songs. Snow globe and mechanism - Tilt your phone and the snow drifts; shake it and the snow swirls, then settles over a few seconds. - Five scenes: Winter Village, Snowy Pine Forest, Moonlit Lake, Cherry Blossom Night and Starry Sky. The little tree in the village window glows softly with the melody. - Watch the brass cylinder turn, its pins pluck the steel comb and each tooth shimmer as it rings. The pin pattern is built from each song. Sound - Every note is synthesized on your phone from the physics of a vibrating steel tooth. No recordings, no tinny loops. - Comb with 18, 30 or 50 notes, and three resonance options: small box, walnut box or on glass. - Volume limit, dark design and a night mode that dims the app and hides the banner.
