Internet Speed Test measures your Wi-Fi or mobile connection with real download and upload transfers, then shows ping and jitter on one clear home screen. Tap Start Test to begin, watch live progress, and review results you can save, share, or compare later. WHY PEOPLE USE THIS APP When calls stutter, pages load slowly, or you want a record of how your link behaved, Internet Speed Test gives measured numbers from actual bytes transferred over time. Results are calculated from the test you run — they are not invented values. CORE MEASUREMENTS • Download speed from multi-stream transfers • Upload speed from real outbound transfers • Ping (latency) samples during the test flow • Jitter based on variation between latency samples • Connection type label (Wi-Fi or mobile) with server label shown in the UI • Optional test duration choices in Settings (15, 30, or 60 seconds) • Preferred speed unit and theme (light, dark, or system) NETWORK TOOLS Internet Speed Test also includes practical diagnostics next to the main test: • Wi-Fi analyzer for nearby networks when Android location or nearby-devices permission is granted • Network information and mobile network details • Public IP and approximate ISP or region lookup through an external service when you open that screen • Connection stability checks with latency samples and quality labels based on documented thresholds • DNS lookup and website reachability tests • Connectivity checker to confirm usable internet before you rely on other tools HISTORY, SHARE, AND EXPORT Save a completed run to local history on your device. Open History to review past results, compare entries, share a summary, delete one item, or clear everything. Export history as CSV using the system file picker. Local history stays on the device and is not uploaded to our servers. Uninstalling removes local history. CONNECTION REQUIREMENT An active internet connection is required. If Wi-Fi or mobile data is off, or the network has no validated internet, Internet Speed Test shows a connection notice and points you to system network settings. Main features stay blocked until internet access is restored. SETTINGS YOU CONTROL Choose theme, speed unit, test duration, and automatic or manual server selection. Clear history from Settings anytime. Open About for a short overview, or Privacy Policy for how information is handled. ADS AND CONSENT Internet Speed Test may display App Open ads and Interstitial ads through Google AdMob. Banner, native, and rewarded ads are not used. Where required, a consent form is shown before ads are requested. App Open ads appear on a fresh open after Home is ready. Interstitial ads may appear after a successful main speed test when results are visible, with a short cooldown to limit repeats. PRIVACY IN BRIEF Saved speed-test results remain on your device. Optional Wi-Fi scanning uses location or nearby-devices permission only to show available networks. Public IP lookup contacts a third-party service when you use that tool. Advertising partners may process advertising identifiers under their own policies and applicable consent rules. Contacts, SMS, microphone, and camera permissions are not requested. HONEST MEASUREMENT NOTES Speeds come from real byte transfers. Jitter uses mean absolute difference between consecutive latency samples (app-specific method). Packet loss is shown as not available for HTTP-based tests. Server labels in the UI are generic display names. Approximate region from IP lookup is never presented as an exact street address.
