Unitronics’ Remote Operator

I use this application from day 1. I have configured 15-20 PLC models to test and support Customers PLCs. Communication links varies from Fiber Optic connections to RF links, Cellular Modems links, VPN links. In case of VPN some timeout problems may be introduced as result of long haul and encryption/decryption time. If URC cache download fails - repeat download at local WiFi connection and problem will be fixed. If connection fail and cannot be restored - set keep-alive at used PLC socket.

Awesome! Works flawlessly with our V700 and a Wifi access point. One thing we could use is the option to have an audible cell phone alarm tied to a MB or linked to an output. I have an alarm tied to an output on the V700 and would like to have that alarm mirror on my phone.

I can get it working with VPN. It's just flakey. Some days it won't connect to the panel, requiring me to manual reset the panel then it works. Not sure if that's the app or a panel issue though.

Work only inside subnet. Can't connect using VPN. Must be disconnect other network connections and connect only in same network with PLC. Need to be made possibility connect outside the subnet.
