Chopped & screwed player for local tracks and Audius. Slow it. Chop it. Play.
Purp is a chopped and screwed music player. Open tracks from your device or browse Audius, then Purp slows them down and chops the rhythm into a deeper, heavier mix. Your library, or a fresh find - screwed your way. Built for the late-night mix Not another bright playlist app. Purp is for when you want the beat to breathe - slower, thicker, chopped. Inspired by Houston chopped & screwed culture, it reshapes the music you already love into that night-drive energy. Your tracks. Your night. Bring any folder of songs from your device. Purp keeps your local library on-device and turns it into a screwed mix without leaving your files behind. Browse Audius Discover trending tracks, genres, search, and playlists on Audius. Stream on demand or download first - you choose - then mix them the same way as your local music. Dial the screw Start with a preset, then nudge the feel until it sits right: • Subtle: a soft lean into the screw; still recognizable, already deeper • Classic: the balanced chop: slow, sticky, ready for the night • Screwed: full weight, heavy chops; let the beat drag and breathe Fine-tune playback speed and chop feel whenever you want more control. Three steps to the screw 1. Open your music -> local folder/files, or Audius 2. Choose the mix -> preset or custom speed and chop 3. Press play -> Purp prepares the track and drops you into the mix Who it’s for Listeners who want chopped & screwed vibes from their own library, or fresh finds on Audius, late-night, heavy, hypnotic. What Purp is (and isn't) Purp is a player that transforms tracks into a screwed mix. It is not a full DAW or a replacement for every streaming catalog, it focuses on local audio and selected Audius titles, slowed and chopped for that deeper feel. Slow it down. Chop the kicks. Play your music like the night demands.
