love it so far!
Map doesn't show infrastructure by type (bike lane vs bike path vs shared pedestrian trail). This is available on the Veloplanner website but not in the app.
excellent bike trip planner!!!
Great app! Thank you!
Dreadful app. Supposed to plan routes from A to B. It routes you along major A roads. Tried Cycling, Cycle Touring, Gravel and MTB. All routed me on A roads. Use Komoot instead. Even taking Komoot's flaws into account it's much better than Veloplanner. Uninstalled.

Thanks for review and sorry you had bad experience. Can you send me more details at kacper@veloplanner.com? Let me know where you tested and I will be able to see why algorithm chooses main roads.
great.

tragic downgrade of velomap

Could you share why? You can reach us at hello@veloplanner.com
So far I'm only trying the route planner on the local trails that I know. With MTB selected, this app tends to give me the best option, so I don't have to add tons of manual waypoints. I like the clean UI. What I'd like to be added is: when planning a route and selecting a point on it, to show also ascent climbed up to that point, not just distance.

Excellent app with good functionally and mapping data. Great to have all the accommodation and other info integrated. The multiday route planning is really good, choosing good cycle paths, or the best roads to accommodate bikes. Much better than many of the cycle-specific app routing. For navigation I export the gpx tracks and import them into OsmAnd, or share directly and follow the track. The developer is quick to respond and fix the few minor issues I picked up.
