might just be my experience but, I got into the app and went through all the little screens, at the end of them you're forced to get a subscription "3 day free trial", did it and then the app would no longer work, I'd open it and it would close itself. if you want a free app this one isn't it👍

Fair criticism on seeing the price late - we're working on making that clearer earlier. On the price itself: we keep it low, and without charging we couldn't develop and support the app at all. No ads, no selling your data - the subscription is what keeps it running. - Gary

Fair question - if a tally counter works for you, go for it. The subscription pays for the taper plan, streaks, charts and reminders that actually get people to quit, plus the servers behind them. We keep it cheap; without charging we couldn't build or support any of it. - Gary

Won't let you use the app without trying premium free trial with a credit card. No way to just use the free app from what I tried.

Hear you - the trial does need a payment method, that's how the store trials work. The app itself is paid: we keep the price low, and without charging we couldn't keep developing and supporting it. No ads, no selling your data. - Gary
