After the developer's prompt reply, and fixing of the lock screen wallpaper issue, I'm happy to give the app a well-deserved 5-star rating. It works perfectly, and provides the user with many customization options. I urge anyone reading this, to buy the full version. It's definitely worth it.

Developer reply

Thank you for your review. I have fixed this, if you turn your phone screen off for 3 seconds or more, the next time you unlock it, you should have a new wallpaper. If not please let me know, thank you for your review.

I used Wallpaper Changer for the longest time, up until the time it quit on me. I'm so happy I found WallCycle. It's simple, fast, and loaded with features. A perfect replacement.

Developer reply

Yes I used that app too! Thank you for your review

I've tried a bunch of wallpaper changer apps and this one is by far the greatest one yet. the other one I had broke recently so I switched over to this one and it's genuinely better in every way. I would heavily recommend this one over the others. The UI is responsive and fast, no ads from what I see, only minor cosmetic features are pay-walled while core features remain free and it lets you use folders instead of picking photos individually. 10/10

Developer reply

This means a lot, thank you!

I... dont understand, how do I make multiple album/folder become all-in-one included in wallpaper, it doesnt even detect subfolder, is this premium feature? or did I miss something? the premium feature only says unlimited folders but it doesnt say multi folder active at once, its a vague description. edit: no no what the f is this, theres this button to add wallpaper but why do it moves my files to the "current folder", I just need it to only read it, no moving stuff around

Developer reply

Hello, I hope you see this, I have added this feature. Please update the app, you should be able to select subfolders as well as multiple folders. I hope this improves your opinion of the app, but whether it does or not, thank you for your review.

very cool app, needs a bit of polish in the menu's (back key exits app in any menu). it would also be cool if it would support matching icons to the wallpaper.

Developer reply

I have fixed this, going back should now return you to the previous menu instead of sometimes just booting you out of the app. Thank you for your review! Icons might be a bit too much for me right now but I am always looking for cool features and that sounds really cool.

this might be the best wallpaper switcher out there it works perfectly only complaint that settings can be a lil difficult to go thru but easy once you understand it otherwise amazing app

Developer reply

Thank you! Settings bloat is a big problem... I will have to untangle it one day 😕

Wanted to be able to have a wallpaper that cycled through a photo album. This is exactly what I wanted. I don't even have to re-upload the album because it updates automatically. Great app. Edit: I will say I do think it does drain my battery a bit, but not too much, as long I have a charger at some point during the day, it's fine

Developer reply

wow thank you! For battery, I just released a patch to fix a lot of raindrop battery drain... Which is by far the most taxing thing. Thank you for your feedback!

I like the app so far and it changes my home screen wallpaper but I can't get it to change the lock screen one. Not sure what I am missing. Please advise.

Developer reply

Sorry for the late reply, I'm not used to reviews so I didn't check, sorry! It turns out the functionality was broken by a recent update, try it now, it should work. In the app, at the bottom, click active, then click both. Now home screen and lock screen should change and be the same. Thank you for your feedback!
