Acta turns your habits into a private accountability game with people you actually trust. TWO WAYS TO USE IT Keep a habit privately, or put it in front of your squad. Most people do both. SOLO COMMITMENTS Not every habit needs an audience. Create a private commitment just for you: name the action, attach a cue ("after my morning coffee"), and define a minimum version for the days when life gets in the way. Check in with Done, Partially, Minimum version, or Not today. A bad day becomes a redesign, not a failure. Your private commitments are never shown to your squads. SQUADS AND STAKES Form a private squad with friends, a partner, or family, then set a stake on a habit. Stakes are friendly, textual pledges the squad agrees on together, like "loser buys dinner". Acta never touches money, escrow, or payments. It just holds everyone to their word. PEER-VERIFIED PROOF Post a quick note or photo as proof. Your squad-mates confirm or dispute it by simple majority vote. No AI scoring, no algorithms deciding whether you tried. If you posted proof and nobody voted it down by the deadline, it counts. SUPPORT, NOT JUDGEMENT React to a squad-mate's proof to encourage them, acknowledge the effort, or ask for help. Squad chat keeps the conversation in one place. INSIGHTS See your best streak, total days completed, and an activity chart across every stake and commitment, plus the identity claims behind your habits. Free shows 7 days of history. Premium extends it to 30 with a breakdown by habit type. REMINDERS THAT RESPECT YOU Optional reminders fire at a time you choose and are scheduled entirely on your device.
