When using the camera to take a picture, if you temporarily leave the app, everything disappears as soon as you go back in. You have to start the report all over again. Even if you've already taken the picture and started drafting the description, leaving the app for just a second voids everything, forcing you to start over. I do however enjoy how it automatically refers my case to the correct agency for me.

I've tried it I'm not too big on it. it's just a clearing house and they send the information to the department they think fits the situation. you can give it a try see what time it is I'm not that big on it it's more of just a complaint mechanism for yourself the actual results are to be revealed or not revealed, frankly it's not worth my time.

Hey Steven, I don't think that is a fair assessment of the app, the city relies on these reports to address a ton of issues in the city. The city does not respond to all requests because they get so many, but they respond to the highest priority ones. Solve SF is the best way to report these issues and the app works great.
The very best way to request city services in sf. Such an improvement on the official 311 app.

This app is a stellar improvement over the official SF 311 app. It makes reporting as easy as snapping a photo and choosing what kind of problem you're reporting. Then it keeps track of your reports and notifies you when there is a resolution. I can reliably report in 15s what used to take 1-2m. Huge win for government accountability!

I love this app! it makes solving issues in San Francisco super fast and easy. See some trash or graffiti? Take a picture, hit submit, and the city will come fix it!
