Wplus

"W+" refers to women's self-help groups (SHGs) in India, which are community-based groups formed by women to collectively save money, generate income, and support each other in various socio-economic activities. Empowering W+ involves enhancing the economic, social, and overall well-being of women through a variety of measures. Here are some ways in which empowerment can be fostered: Income Generation Support the formation of income-generating activities within the group, such as small businesses, handicrafts, and agricultural ventures. Facilitate linkages with markets and provide market-oriented training to improve the competitiveness of their products. We can promote this group by buying food and products. Microfinance and Microenterprise Development Facilitate access to microfinance to help members invest in and expand their businesses. Promote the establishment of small-scale enterprises that align with the skills and resources of the group.
