Very easy to install with a quick sign up. Asked only for a user name and a pin. it was quick to store photos and i really like the file managemeant it was easy to use and organize files. i've been looking for an app to store files with encryption on my phone. this was a good choice. I found it while using their other app xpal. the app has file sharing and messaging by connecting to their other app.

So many bugs it is a joke. Basic text files don't open. No light theme. PIN asked for every few minutes. Cannot use good file manager to add files, only poor stock one.

Scam. Claims no login is required, but the first screen when you open the app is to create an account or login.

Hi there! Just to clarify—Xave doesn’t collect any personal info. You don’t need to enter an email or phone number. To get started, you simply choose a screen name and set a PIN for security.
Installed, saw requirement to create account, uninstalled. It was on my phone for less than 30 seconds.

Hello, Xave does not collect any personal information. To use the app, you only need to choose a screen name and set a 4- or 6-digit PIN—no email, no phone number, and no identity required.
What's new was that the last update completely screwed up the app and will refuse to start up. Don't use this app for anything sensitive or you'll regret losing it all when it decides to no work anymore.

Sorry you experienced that. We identified the issue on certain devices and released a patch the next day that fully resolved it. No stored files were affected. We appreciate your patience and hope you'll give Xave another try soon.
Why do I need to create an online account for an app that is supposed to store my encrypted files locally?!

So currently there's no way to change file path to SD card? Big reason I tried it. Also how do I unencrypt the files? No mention of it being a permanent thing ie make copies etc. so are my files forever stuck on here? If so that's a lil wild considering Samsung has the same thing but allows decryption. Otherwise those 2 things get fixed I'll happily change to 5 stars because that's crucial. I'm glad I used some random stuff to use ATM versus half a tb worth
