Nearly perfect. Some black and white comics with smooth grey gradients show banding, which is not the case using other readers. The images are capped at 8 bit or something.

YACLibrary on PC paired with YACReader on android is great. Alhough there are features I miss from my previous reader, I love the panel by panel option plus being able to keep track of what's been read, no matter if I'm on my tablet, phone, or PC. The import feels slower than just moving them over wifi via the folders app, but it's just too convenient to scroll through the collection and be able to see the covers before tapping import.
Absolutely adore the panel by panel mode, makes reading on a tablet much easier.
the best app
5 stars on iOS and Android for the panel by panel functionality. Exited to learn that panel by panel reading is now available on Android. Thanks for the update to bring this functionality into Android.

The 1.x Android version is a companion for YACReaderLibrary, it’s in the app description. The iOS version is 10 years older, all its features were added gradually, I plan on doing the same with the Android app.
Best comic reader ever, including a home server to stream comics from your PC. Now with panel detection on Android, thanks for that!

Great app for reading comics locally or from a computer in the same network (you can use Tailscale in addition to YACReader to also read remotely, but it takes extra setup) that is lightning quick even with 1000s of comics. Its also regularly updated with improvements and new features (panel by panel view was just added for instance)! Highly recommended!
yacreader for ios is amazing, but for android VERY limited in comparison. No options for organization and no importing reading lists. I hope the developer turns their attention to opti.izing this app for android as they have done for ios.

The app is being improved constantly, the latest update includes auto trim margins and panel by panel reading, matching iOS in that area. The iOS app has many years more of work behind, so it will take time to get the Android app there.
Very, very good. Amazing for a solo developer. Not perfect, but the best I've found.
4 stars for now. The panel-by-panel reading feature is awesome and works really well. If the app supports locally downloaded CBZ and CBR files, I'll update my rating to 5 stars.

“Pair it with the free desktop app for organising your library and you've got yourself a full comic reading ecosystem.”
