I have a Y8 headset. This app kind of sees it but when I tap on its icon it just says "abnormal device". The headset purchase date is the first half of April 2025

If you're sure the headphones are called Y8 without the '+' suffix, the batch that supports the app was released in March 2026.

It won't work without a lot of permissions including digital wellbeing which I don't use. Completely unnecessary when I just want to use the equaliser.
