In the EU and UK, Paydos now asks for ad consent on the parent's main screen. Added Privacy policy and Ad privacy settings links to the main screen.
Set a time limit, pick the allowed apps, lock with a PIN.
Paydos is a simple parental control app that lets you put an easy, gentle limit on your child's phone use. How it works: Set a duration (15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or any length you like), check the apps that may be opened during that time, and hand the phone to your child. When time runs out, or when an app that isn't allowed is opened, the screen locks automatically. Ending the lock before time is up requires the PIN you chose. Why Paydos: - Transparent, not punishing: your child can always see how much time is left and which apps are allowed. - The app list can be sorted by most recently used or most used, so setup takes seconds. - Completely free. Ads are shown only on the parent's screens; the lock screen your child sees has none. - Your settings and PIN are stored only on the phone. No account needed. - Paydos opens in your device's language (14 languages: English, Turkish, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Indonesian, Hindi, Arabic, Japanese, Korean and Chinese). About the Accessibility permission: Paydos uses Android's AccessibilityService API. This permission is required for the app's core function: while a time limit is active, it detects which app comes to the foreground and shows the lock screen when an app that isn't allowed is opened or when time runs out. Through this permission Paydos only sees which app is open; it does not read, store or share on-screen text, messages, photos or anything you type. The permission is only turned on with your consent and can be turned off at any time in Settings. Paydos aims to turn screen time from an argument into a clear limit agreed in advance.
