IPTV player for M3U and XC, with a TV guide, favourites, films and series
Bring your own live TV, films and series into one organised place. Zaptrell IPTV Player is built for Android phones, tablets, Android TV and Google TV, with clear landscape layouts and controls for touch or a TV remote. Connect a lawful XC-compatible account, M3U or M3U8 playlist, local playlist file or direct stream address. Zaptrell is a player only: it does not provide channels, subscriptions or copyrighted programmes. You supply content you own or are authorised to access. CHANNELS THAT ARE EASY TO FIND Browse provider categories, search across categories within Live TV, Movies or Series, and choose readable channel lists or artwork cards. Keep favourites, change category order and return to recently watched content. Movies and Series remember their own view and sort choices. A GUIDE YOU CAN BROWSE WHILE WATCHING See programme times, now and next information, and a live preview alongside the guide on wider screens. Search categories, move through the timeline and open programme details. Use your provider's EPG or compatible XMLTV feeds, including compressed guides. Guide Health helps explain missing channel matches. Coverage and accuracy depend on the selected guide source. PLAYBACK UNDER YOUR CONTROL Use full-screen playback, audio-track and subtitle selection, automatic or manual aspect ratios, and picture options on compatible devices. Continue supported on-demand content from a saved position and seek when the stream allows it. Live pause and rewind require a seekable source and the configured cloud-storage connection. Available codecs, audio output and picture processing depend on your device and source. YOUR LIBRARY, KEPT UP TO DATE Refresh sources manually or use the two-hour background update schedule. Catalogue updates do not restart a healthy playing stream. Android may defer background work, and source or network capacity can still affect playback. RECORD WHEN YOUR SOURCE ALLOWS IT For authorised, unprotected MPEG-TS streams over HTTP or HTTPS, record to device storage or a writable destination available through Android's file picker. Each recording has a two-hour or 4 GB limit. Recording also requires enough storage and available provider connections. FREE CORE PLAYBACK Core viewing remains free. Supported mobile menu screens may show advertising away from active video. An optional one-time Google Play purchase removes ads and unlocks compatible picture enhancement. There is no subscription; the app displays Google's actual localised price. Purchase availability depends on Google Play Billing support. Credentials stay in protected storage on your device. Picture enhancement uses device scaling or GPU processing; it cannot restore authentic detail missing from the source. Playback and guide availability depend on your lawful provider, network and device.
