I would like to have this same tool for e36
I used this app with a Vgate adaptor to turn change the behaviour of a 2011 BMW Series 1 Stop Start facility so it remembers the last setting it was switched to. I also got the front fog lights to come on as driving lights as well. Easy to use but strange why it asks to turn off Bluetooth connections before coding. The adaptor Bluetooth has to remain on for it to work.

This app is amazing. highly recommended to anyone who wants to change options to their bmw especially when getting aftermarket parts put on
it's ok
can be difficult to use but super helpful! I've programmed in and out a lot of options. I use it with an USB C to Ethernet to E-net cable, it's just faster and more reliable than the wireless option
Its ok. check what modules you car has before you purchase as you might be a bit disappointed with the changes you can make.
