EMF Reader & Scanner - Ferrix

Ferrix is an EMF reader for magnetic fields: a magnetic field detector, a wall scanner for iron and steel, and a guided check for hidden cameras, plus a WiFi camera detector for the network you are on. It reads the magnetometer inside your phone, shows the field in microtesla or milligauss and explains in plain words what the number means. A beep marks a clear change in the magnetic field near the surface, and Ferrix numbers each spot. That can be iron or steel such as screws, nails or steel profiles, or a cable under load, so it can help as a stud finder where screws hold the board. Wood, plastic and copper without current stay invisible and small or deep objects can be missed: a wall without a spot is no proof that it is safe to drill. Share your wall scan as an image. HIDDEN CAMERA CHECK A guided walk through nine places where hidden cameras can sit: smoke detectors, chargers and USB plugs, clocks, TV and router, pictures and mirrors, air vents, decor, bed and lamps, bathroom. • Lens finder: Ferrix blinks the flash and circles only small dots that light up with it again and again, because a camera lens can throw light back. • IR view: some front cameras show night vision LEDs your eyes cannot see; a TV remote test shows whether yours does. • Magnet: a strong reading on an object can point to a magnet or electronics inside, but proves nothing alone. Mark each place as "nothing seen" or "look closer", saved per room. WIFI NETWORK SCAN Ferrix checks the Wi-Fi you are on for devices that act like a camera: a reply on the stream ports 554 or 8554 (RTSP), an ONVIF or UPnP announcement with maker and model, a web server name pointing to a camera, or ports typical for video recorders. Each marked device shows why. If the Wi-Fi keeps devices apart, Ferrix says so: then no network scan can tell anything. A camera without Wi-Fi, in another network or recording only to an SD card is invisible to any network scan. It does not measure radio waves such as Wi-Fi or 5G, and Ferrix makes no health claims.
