Great nightstand clock. I can read at night without my glasses and my wife can see it from her side of the bed. Autostart feature is very convenient. Definitely recommend.
For over a year I could not get the color or brightness level I had used for years. A few months ago everything changed and the app is working perfectly again. I can only observe what happened on my phone. My understanding of app creation is nearly '0'. Thank you, Benjamin for a useful app that works well and is ad free. I appreciate your app philosophy.

The app hasn't changed in a year +. What's the problem exactly?
Great app, but one little bug prevents me from giving it 5 stars. When I set an alarm it always displays the alarm time one minute before the actual alarm sounds. I set an alarm for 7:00am, but the app displays 6:59am. No matter what time I set my alarm it always displays alarm time one minute before. Can this be fixed? EDIT: Updated to 5 stars. A misbehaving alarm app was the culprit. Changed to a different app and Night Clock works smoothly.

Hello, the app can only display the next alarm time provided by the Android system. It may be that your alarm app provides this information in an unusual way. Please try another alarm app for comparison, e.g. my free Radio Alarm Clock, which should not show this behavior. (Sometimes even calendar apps "abuse" the visible alarm functionality.) - Ben
Works ok, but I set it up so it won't run without external power. My intent was that the clock would close when I removed the charger. Instead, it pops up a persistent message "warning" me that it's not allowed without power. That defeats the purpose of that setting. I just want the clock to close. Also, it's far too easy to accidentally change settings when touching the screen. I find myself constantly reactivating auto-brightness and resizing text. If those were fixed, I would give 5 stars.

Hello, the clock should indeed just close itself when not allowed to run on battery and being disconnected. Just tried it on my device again and it did as expected. Could you please try: 1) disabling that Dialog, 2) A different cable, 3) rebooting and try again - does any of it make a difference? Have never seen this on any of my devices. KindR.Ben
Doesn't remember it's been purchased. Every night I need to launch it and go into Google Play to remind it it's been purchased.

Hello, could you please check whether you still have the free version installed and may be opening that instead? Free and "+" are two separate apps. The free app icon has rounded digits, while the “+” version uses segmented digits. The free version can be safely uninstalled when using "+". Nightclock + has all features permanently unlocked.
My Pixel phone does not charge while running Night Clock+.

Hello, please reboot the device and try again, this has never happened on any of my test devices (also not an older pixel). This has also not been reported by users. It should charge just fine, no matter whether the app is running or not.
die App läuft bei mir seit 5 Jahren jede Nacht auf dem Nachttisch. Ideale Kombination von super großen Ziffern und ganz niedrig einstellbarer Leuchtstärke. Ich bin nachts lichtempfindlich, aber diese Ziffern stören nicht.
Way under rated. Just about a perfect clock app for using as a bedside clock at night.
