Hi! Version 2.21.0 adds this: if Android rejects a self-signed certificate, Test Connection in the server settings shows it with its SHA-256 fingerprint. If it matches the one on your server, tap Trust and the app accepts exactly this certificate. A general bypass stays out, it would let anyone in the network read your password.

Thanks for the Report! This issue should be fixed in the next beta, and if all goes well, it should be released to the stable branch shortly thereafter.
Found the app on Github and using it ever since.......Downloaded the app from Play Store just to write the review ...I Love this app ....just a universal search feature is missing which is a must for me to find my notes just still i use this app as it is simple and straight forward with good features......
love it! it's easy to use but still has a lot of features. I like that it can sync to my WebDAV server and it also has native markdown file backups. I couldn't find both of those two features in any other note app out of the box.

Hello Mike, much thanks! Native reminders are currently not on my scope as I am trying to keep things simple but I keep the idea on my backlog, though!
