Dear Support Team, I am writing to bring a recurring technical issue to your attention regarding the VS Code application I have installed on my Android device. I am frequently encountering a persistent "Attempting to reconnect" error, which interrupts my workflow and causes the application to disconnect repeatedly. Despite ensuring that my internet connection is stable and my device is updated, this error remains a consistent roadblock in my development process. Could you please assist me
previous problem got fixed, it works on Chromebook again (previously it was stuck on opening workspace)
it was awesome until the last update broke it on my chromecast

I bought this expecting a similar experience to my laptop on mobile. Far from it. Horrific experience, lots of problems, not optimised for mobile in any way. I have had far better coding experience from bog-standard terminals on phone. Be warned.

Feels a lot like vscode on the web implementations - double tap doesn't translate to double click, no hover info on radio. Also, you have to use a mix of regular keyboards and the "unexpected keyboard" for special keys. Unlike web implementations, this runs in some Ubuntu container, so that running tools works. Can thus even install nvm, so one doesn't have to use the ancient node 20.
