Save and search the notifications you choose. Your archive stays on your phone.
Notification Archive keeps a private, searchable record of the notifications you choose to save. Pick the apps you care about, and every notification they post is stored on your phone, including the ones you swipe away and the ones an app takes back later.
Your archive never leaves your phone. There is no account, no ads and no analytics. Notification text, sender names and images are kept only in the app's private storage on this device.
WHAT IT DOES
• You choose which apps to archive. Nothing is saved until you switch an app on, and you can narrow each app down to the notification channels you want.
• Browse by app, then by channel, with counts at a glance
• Full-text search across everything you have archived
• Notifications you dismissed, or that an app withdrew, stay in the archive, labelled with how they were removed
• A conversation view for messaging notifications: each message is stored once, and when an app updates a message the earlier text is kept and marked as edited
• Sender names and initials avatars in conversations
• Images that arrive in notifications, shown inline, with save to gallery
• Open the original app from an archived notification, straight to the conversation where that app supports it
• Stats: busiest apps, activity over the last 7 days, and which apps send the most dismissed and the most promotional notifications
• Automatic clean-up of anything older than a period you pick
• Export to JSON or CSV, and import a JSON export back
• App lock with fingerprint, face or your device PIN
• Pause capture at any time
• Ongoing and system status notifications, such as media players, downloads and charging, are skipped automatically
FREE AND PRO
Free: archive up to 3 apps, keep up to 30 days of history, text notifications, search, conversations and a preview of Stats.
Pro: unlimited apps and history, images, export and import, app lock, and full Stats. Monthly, yearly, or a single lifetime purchase. Billed by Google Play; cancel a subscription any time in the Play Store.
WHAT IT CANNOT DO
• It only saves notifications that arrive after you grant access and switch an app on. Nothing from before that can be brought back.
• It saves what the notification showed. If a message never appeared as a notification, because the chat was open, the conversation was muted, or the app hid its content, there is nothing to save.
• Some apps shorten long messages or leave images out of their notifications. The archive holds exactly what the notification carried.
• Jumping to a specific conversation depends on the other app. Where that is not possible, the app itself opens.
• Some phone makers stop background apps aggressively. If capture stops, allow the app to run in the background; the setup screens show where.
PERMISSIONS, AND WHY
• Notification access: required. It is how Android lets an app read notifications as they arrive. The app explains what it will read and where it is kept before sending you to the setting, and you can turn it off in system settings at any time.
• Internet: used only for Pro purchases, to show prices and confirm what you bought. Your archive is never sent anywhere.
• Biometric: used only if you turn on app lock.
• Storage, on Android 8 and 9 only: to save images to your gallery.
YOUR DATA
Archived notifications are excluded from cloud backup. A direct phone-to-phone transfer when you set up a new device can bring them with you. Export files are created only when you ask for one and go only where you send them. To confirm Pro, the purchase service receives an anonymous ID and your purchase history, never your notifications. Payment details are handled by Google Play.
