Alquerque is the ancestor of checkers, played since the Middle Ages in North Africa and Spain. Two players, twelve pieces each, one board of lines and diagonals: jump over your opponent's pieces to capture them, chain your captures, and take them all or block them to win. THREE WAYS TO PLAY - Against the robot: offline, with three levels from easy to hard. - Bluetooth: two nearby devices, no internet needed. - Online: invite a friend or meet a random opponent, and climb the leaderboard. LEARN IN MINUTES - A 5-step interactive tutorial teaches moves, captures and chain captures. - The full rules are always one tap away. - Legal moves are highlighted on the board, and you can undo against the robot. MADE TO BE PLAYED - A clean wooden board that reads well on any screen, in portrait or landscape. - Available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali and Chinese. - No ads. YOUR DATA The robot and Bluetooth modes work without an account: your profile and statistics stay on your device. Online play requires signing in with Google, and you can delete your account and data at any time from the Profile screen.
