📱 Tablet optimization: the SETTING window now scales up nicely on large screens.
Lock your screen with one tap. Fingerprint/face unlock, or optional PIN lock.
🔒 Quick Lock puts an instant "lock screen" button one tap away. Tap the app icon, a Quick Settings tile or a home-screen shortcut, and your phone locks instantly - exactly like pressing the power button. No ads, no accounts, no data collection. 🔐 TWO LOCK MODES - Quick lock (default): works like the power button. Fingerprint and face unlock keep working as usual. - Secure lock (optional, off by default): after locking, Android asks for your PIN, pattern or password before the phone can be opened again - biometrics are not accepted until then. Useful when you want extra protection, for example in a crowd or before handing your phone to someone. You can switch between the modes at any time inside the app. ✨ FEATURES - 👆 One-tap lock from the launcher icon - ⚡ Quick Settings tile for locking from the notification shade - 📌 Long-press the app icon for shortcuts: Settings and More apps - 🎨 7 themes (system, light, dark, ocean, sepia, forest, AMOLED) - 🌍 8 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Russian, Hungarian - 🪶 Tiny, fast, no background activity ⚠️ PERMISSIONS: WHY THEY ARE NEEDED Accessibility service (required for locking) Android only lets an app lock the screen through its Accessibility API. Quick Lock uses it for one single purpose: performing the system "lock screen" action when you ask for it. The service does not listen to any events, does not read what is on your screen, and does not collect, store or share anything. Before opening Android's Accessibility settings, the app shows a clear explanation and asks for your consent. Device administrator (optional, only for Secure lock) Secure lock uses Android's Device administrator "Lock the screen" policy and nothing else. With it, the app cannot see or read your PIN, password or pattern, cannot wipe your data and cannot change any other setting. The permission is only requested if you choose Secure lock, after an explanation and your consent. To open Quick Lock's settings (including the revoke button), long-press the app icon and choose Settings. You can also revoke the permission in Android's Device admin apps settings. Please note that Android requires deactivating a Device administrator before the app can be uninstalled. 💡 GOOD TO KNOW - Requires Android 9 or newer. - If you installed the app outside Google Play, Android 13+ may require "Allow restricted settings" in the app info before the Accessibility service can be enabled. - After a restart Android always asks for your PIN once - this is an Android security rule. - If the Device administrator permission is revoked, the app automatically returns to Quick lock mode. 🛡️ PRIVACY Quick Lock collects no personal data, contains no ads and needs no internet connection to lock your phone.
