Listen to Hindi discourses and stories – whatever is being spoken is also written simultaneously.
Katha is a listening app. It features discourses and stories in Hindi—and none of them are borrowed from anywhere else. Every word is written specifically for this app and spoken in your own voice. Listen and read simultaneously. As soon as you open a story, a small screen appears at the top—a picture of the story, and below it, the sentence being spoken at that moment. Like a video. Once heard, always on your phone. The story is downloaded to your phone the first time you listen to it. After that, it continues on the spot—whether on a plane, train, or anywhere there's no signal. No account required. Continue where you left off. Each discourse is fifteen to twenty minutes long; longer stories are in parts. It resumes where you left off, and the next part plays automatically, if you wish. Save for the night. Keep the screen closed, and the story will continue playing. The lock screen has the necessary buttons. It automatically stops with the sleep timer. The screen is night-colored, so it doesn't hurt your eyes. What's in it? • Sermons—fear, anger, love, haste, loneliness—on everyday issues, without preaching. • Stories—of ordinary people, ordinary places. New stories are added constantly, without the need to update the app. Hindi and English The entire app can be read in both languages. The story remains in Hindi. Free The entire app is free and runs on ads. There are no ads in the middle of the story. You can also turn off ads for 24 hours by watching a short video. No name, no email, no phone number—nothing is asked for. — Axpertz Labs
