Each is off until you turn it on in Android Settings, and you can turn it off at any time. 1. Snip It (Clipboard Manager): detects when you copy text so it can be saved to your local clipboard history automatically, and restarts the floating bubble if Android closes it. 2. Snip It Text Expander: reads the text of the field you are typing in only to check it against your own shortcuts, then inserts the matching snippet. Typed text is checked on your device and is never stored, logged or sent anywhere. Password fields are always skipped. Snip It shows a clear explanation and asks for your consent before you turn it on.
