Share any reel. AI summarizes it, saves the key tips, and makes them searchable.
Stop losing the reels you actually cared about. RecapIt is an AI video summarizer for the short videos you save and never open again. Watch a reel, tap Share, pick RecapIt — AI transcribes it, writes a summary, and pulls out what you wanted: places, restaurants, ingredients, steps, products and tips, into a vault you can search. No more screenshots you can't find. No more 400 saved videos you'll never rewatch. ★ HOW IT WORKS 1. Watch a short video anywhere 2. Tap Share and choose RecapIt (or paste the link) 3. AI summarizes the video and extracts the key insights 4. Search your vault, or ask a question and get an answer from your own saves ★ WHAT THE AI PULLS OUT • Full video summary and transcript — skim in seconds instead of rewatching • Places, restaurants and activities, with map, Yelp and Tripadvisor links • Recipes: ingredients, steps, equipment • Workouts: exercises, routines, form tips • Products: pros, cons, key specs • Deals: codes, terms, expiry dates • Travel: itinerary ideas, best time to visit, hidden gems • Language notes: phrases, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation ★ WORKS WITH THE APPS YOU ALREADY SCROLL Share from TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or Facebook Reels — or paste a public link. RecapIt sits in your share sheet, so saving takes one tap. ★ YOUR VAULT, ORGANIZED • Collections with custom names and icons • Automatic categories: Cooking, Fitness, Travel, Beauty, Finance, Fashion & Style, Deals & Coupons, Home Improvement, Language Learning, Product Reviews, Events & Nightlife, Career & Productivity, Wellness & Self-Care • Duplicate detection so the same reel is never saved twice • Search by keyword, platform or insight type • Clips and insights stored in the cloud, not buried in a Saved tab ★ ASK ANYTHING ACROSS YOUR SAVES Ask across a whole collection and get an answer grounded in your saves. "Which restaurants did I save in Lisbon?" "Show me the 20-minute workouts." It reads your vault, not the open internet. ★ WHO IT'S FOR • Travelers building an itinerary from travel reels • Home cooks collecting recipe videos • Gym-goers saving workouts and form tips • Deal hunters catching discount codes before they scroll away • Shoppers comparing product review videos before buying • Language learners keeping phrases and grammar clips • Students, creators and researchers who learn from short video ★ WHY PEOPLE SWITCH TO RECAPIT Saving a video in TikTok or Instagram gives you a wall of thumbnails. RecapIt gives you the content: a searchable second brain of summaries, recipes, places and tips, across every platform. ★ RECAPIT PREMIUM Free to start. Premium unlocks advanced AI insights, premium themes and an ad-free experience, with weekly, monthly and yearly plans. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel anytime in Google Play subscription settings. ★ COMMON QUESTIONS Does it work without the share sheet? Yes — paste any public video link. Do I need an account? No — RecapIt sets you up automatically, no password. Can I get a transcript? Yes, every clip keeps its transcript and summary. Available in English, German, Spanish, Indonesian, Japanese, Portuguese and Vietnamese. ★ PRIVACY Your vault is yours. Shared videos are processed to generate insights and are never sold or shared with third parties.
