A free, offline, multi-language app.
Thread. Nail. Light.
String Art Studio turns a photograph into a piece of string art — and then hands you the plan to string it for real. It is also a pattern studio, where a couple of sliders draw cardioids, rosettes, spirographs and mandalas out of pure geometry.
Everything is solved on your device. No account, no sign-up.
WEAVE A PHOTO
Pick an image and the solver chases it tone by tone, choosing the next nail
thousands of times over until the picture appears in thread.
• Live weaving — watch each line land as the image builds
• Up to 400 nails and 6000 lines
• Nine frames: circle, square, oval, portrait, hexagon, heart, star, triangle,
diamond
• Nine thread-and-board pairings, or pick any two colours yourself
• Colour threads: four or six spools solved at once in RGB
• Reframe your photo — zoom, rotate and pan inside the frame
• Tune it: line count, thread weight, thread width, brightness, contrast,
auto levels, fine resolution and edge fade
• Set the real-world frame width in centimetres and see how much thread the
piece will take
SPIN A PATTERN
Six generators, twelve presets, and every parameter live under your finger.
• Times tables, star polygons, spirographs, rose curves, envelopes, mandalas
• Points, multiplier, layers, spread and rotation
• Solid, gradient, spectrum and palette colour modes
• Thread width, opacity, scale, frame shape, nail pins and thread glow
• Animate the multiplier and watch the curve breathe
BUILD IT FOR REAL
• Nail-order plan — the step-by-step sequence to string the piece by hand
• Nail template — a printable, numbered drilling guide
• SVG vector — infinite zoom, ready for cutters and plotters
• PNG export, up to 2000 × 2000 in HD
KEEP YOUR WORK
Save a piece to your gallery and reopen it later with every setting exactly as
you left it — frame, nails, thread, tuning, the lot.
