Update, calibrate and maintain Nwave parking sensors over Bluetooth
Nwave Device Management is the field tool for installing and maintaining Nwave parking sensors. It works with sensors over Bluetooth and reports every operation to the Nwave platform. WORK WITH MANY SENSORS AT ONCE • Build a working list by scanning sensor QR codes, picking sensors found over Bluetooth or typing IDs • Update firmware, calibrate or collect logs on one sensor or on the whole list in one go • Reboot a sensor • Every sensor card shows progress, firmware and bootloader versions and sensor health • When an operation fails, the card explains why KEEPS WORKING IN THE FIELD • A firmware transfer that has started finishes even if you switch to another app; the notification shows its progress and can stop it • If a sensor is out of range, the operation waits for it and continues when it is back • Results and report photos are stored on the phone and sent to the Nwave platform when the network returns LIVE DATA • Watch a sensor's live data, formerly the separate Recorder app • Save recordings and share them WORKS WITH OTHER NWAVE APPS • Calibration and health check requests from Splace and ReplaceLight are carried out here, and the result goes back to the app that asked SIGNING IN Sign in with your Nwave platform account. Accounts are issued by Nwave or by your organization's administrator on the Nwave platform. Guest mode needs no account and works offline: it shows nearby sensors and runs the initial calibration that activates a new sensor. PERMISSIONS • Nearby devices (Bluetooth): find and connect to sensors • Location, on Android 11 and older only: Android requires it for Bluetooth scanning; the app does not read your location • Camera: scan sensor QR codes and take report photos • Notifications: show the progress of operations running in the background Support: support@nwave.io
