Sync for Lemmy

It works perfectly well

Abandoned

Had to lower my review. Dev seems to have abandoned the project. gifs don't work anymore, spoiler tags are broken, and many more bugs I can't think of off the top of my head. it's too bad, the reddit version was great.

worth supporting. need some cleaning up, but nice not having manipulative algorithms.

I cannot hide read posts, even though it has a button specifically for that and settings to improve it even more. It makes no difference what view mode I use, if I scroll by it, click on it, open the links, it will not mark it as read/hide it. At least now there's ads... useless.

Very well designed app

I wish I could recommend Sync for Lemmy. It was one of the best apps to browse Lemmy, but the creator all but abandoned the app, leaving many bugs unfixed. At the time of writing, it's been around 2 years since his last post on Lemmy. There's been no communication of any kind since. The app itself will probably stop working once a big enough update to Lemmy happens. Oh, but you can still pay for premium features that don't work, as IAPs are still working

Used to be great, but has been abandoned. End of an era.
