Magnifying glass with light for small print. Freeze to read, zoom in, save.
Magnifier & Microscope turns your phone camera into a magnifying glass with a light. Read the small print on medicine labels, price tags, receipts and instructions, or switch to microscope mode to look closely at fabric, insects, leaves or a splinter in your finger. Every button has its name under the icon, so you can find what you need at a glance. ■ Magnifier and microscope Magnifier fills the screen for reading. Microscope zooms in close, shows a round eyepiece view and turns the light on. On phones with a lens that focuses closer, it switches to that lens. ■ Zoom Move the slider, press minus and plus, or pinch the screen. Each mode remembers the zoom you used last time. ■ Light and brightness Turn on your phone's flashlight in dark places, and make the picture brighter or darker with the brightness slider. ■ Tap to focus Tap the spot you want to see sharply. If it stays blurry, move the phone a little further away. ■ Freeze Stop the picture so it does not shake while you read. The frozen picture is taken again at a higher resolution, so you can pinch to zoom in further and drag to look around. ■ Easy-to-see colors Normal, vivid (stronger contrast), black & white, and inverted (white letters on black, easier on the eyes). ■ Save photos Keep what you see in your gallery, in the color you chose. Microscope photos keep the round view. ■ No sign-up, no subscription Every feature is there from the start. No account, no paid version, and no ad each time you freeze or save. Good for ・Medicine labels, ingredient lists and instruction leaflets ・Checking price tags and receipts in the store ・Threading a needle, tiny screws and splinters ・Looking at insects, flowers, leaves and fabric up close ・Reading menus and maps in dim light How close you can zoom and focus depends on your phone's camera. A phone camera cannot show germs or cells.
