Scale snap is here. Choose a scale and key, and the pad locks every touch to notes that belong together — so you can play in tune while moving freely. Guide lines show the notes, with the root highlighted. Also in this update: - Many new presets across keys, basses, pads, leads and bells - Landscape orientation support - Edge-to-edge display - Finer pitch readout in the low range - The preset list keeps its scroll position
Minimal polyphonic synth pad with intuitive touch control and real-time visuals.
Touch the pad and it plays. No menus to learn, no setup — just move your fingers and the sound follows. Q Pad is a minimalist XY pad synthesizer. Slide up and down for pitch, left and right to open the filter, and every finger you add plays its own note with its own filter. The waveform draws itself in real time as you play. WHAT'S INSIDE - A library of presets, organised by category — keys, basses, leads, pads and more - FM synthesis — bells, electric pianos and metallic tones that subtractive synthesis alone cannot reach - Real subtractive engine — multiple oscillators per voice, AHDSR amplitude and filter envelopes, LFO routable to pitch, filter or pulse width, poly modulation - Effects — formant filter, reverb, delay, distortion, compressor and limiter - Live waveform display, peak meter and note readout - Polyphonic, with true multitouch BUILT FOR LOW LATENCY The sound engine is native, opening an exclusive low-latency audio stream where the device allows it. The gap between your finger and the sound is as small as the hardware permits — which is what makes an instrument feel like an instrument rather than a remote control. SOUNDS THAT GO SOMEWHERE The presets are not variations on one patch. A bell rings with inharmonic partials. An electric piano's bark decays faster than its body. An acid bass sweeps a resonant filter the way a 303 does. Each one is measured and levelled so switching between them does not jump in volume. FREE, NO ADS, NO IN-APP PURCHASES Nothing to unlock, nothing to dismiss. Open it and play. Whether you make music already or are just curious what your fingers can do, Q Pad is somewhere to start. Download it and touch the pad.
