Best photo frame app ever, worth everything, great Dev listen to problems and suggestions
Developer reply
Thank you, Saji! I'm glad you're enjoying PicDock. Your feedback and suggestions help me make it better, and I really appreciate your support. - DD_studio
Really great good at what it does. should be good to handle WebP animated files, and different profiles to handle different groups of files/folders would be fantastic
Developer reply
Thank you, Tim! Update: animated WebP now plays in the slideshow (Android 9 and later) from version 1.9.4, which is live on Google Play. If a file still shows only one frame, please tell me at devdad.code@gmail.com. Per-folder profiles (different settings per group of folders) is a bigger one; still noted as a feature request. - DD_studio
Feature request please. ⚪ A button to quickly filter between Videos, Images, or Gifs in an album while slideshow is playing. Could you also add a toggle to move buttons to the top of the screen or bottom, placed above the thumbnail slider.

Thank you, Floyd. Both ideas are noted: a quick switch between videos, photos and GIFs while the slideshow runs, and a toggle to move the buttons above the thumbnail strip to the top or bottom. Neither is in yet. Meanwhile 1.8.6 fixes the video bar staying on screen after you move on to a photo. - DD_studio
Cannot set any transition effects. Just jumps from photo to photo. Worked fine until I bought the app. DO NOT RECOMMEND! OK. All set. A quick prompt in the install would have saved me aggravation though. thanks for responding.
Developer reply
It isn't the purchase — PicDock's transitions follow your device's animation setting, and Battery saver or Accessibility > "Remove animations" turns them off. Update: the app now says so itself. The transition picker checks your device and shows a notice with a shortcut to the right setting. Shipped in 1.8.1 — thank you for asking for it.
I can't seem to get sleep mode to function correctly by completely turning the screen off, it only goes black but the screen backlight is still on. Samsung Tab A. Feature request maybe? feels silly to have the screen on all night consuming extra energy. apart fro, that this app is designed very well, I particularly like overlays. well done!!
Developer reply
It's out now. "Turn the screen off completely" is in Sleep schedule — the screen really switches off and comes back on at your wake time, so the backlight won't stay on all night. Shipped in 1.7.3 and it's in the current version too. Thanks for asking for it, and for the kind words about the design. - DD_studio
Don't know if it's user error, but it only displays the top bit of my photos
Developer reply
Update: the fix is out. Rotating the tablet now re-lays out the photo right away instead of keeping the previous crop, so the whole picture shows. It shipped in 1.7.2, and I re-checked it today on a Galaxy Tab S9 FE — both orientations fill the screen. Sorry it took a version to get there. - DD_studio
Amazing APP LOVE It..This is what i was looking for my Tablet..
Developer reply
Thank you, Surendra! So glad PicDock turned out to be exactly what you were looking for on your tablet. More improvements are on the way — enjoy your memories! — Woo (DD_studio)
oh my gawd, the best I could ever want it, only one small request, display effect: panning left-right or up-down for a crop fit to fullscreen for either potrait or landscape photo, and it will be the best photo frame app ever. also delete source button (as a check-marking is only for disabling the source). and Nas optimization, as currently Nas image source not showing up if combined with local source.

Thank you for the wonderful review and the detailed suggestions! Update 1.5.7 delivers all three: a new "Crop Pan" effect (full-screen crop with a slow edge-to-edge pan), per-source pause & delete buttons for combined sources, and fixes so NAS photos blend reliably with local albums. Enjoy! - DD_studio
This does exactly what I wanted and works great. Just wish there was an option to make the time and weather displays larger.
Developer reply
Thank you — so glad it's working well for you! Good news: it's already there. Settings → Screen → 📏 Widget Scale resizes the clock and weather together (up to 2x). You can also pinch directly on the clock or weather panel to resize just that one, and drag it anywhere you like. Hope that helps!
. Amazing APP LOVE EVERY MOMENT
Developer reply
Thank you so much, Mike! Reviews like yours keep us building. Since you're on a tablet, you might also enjoy the dual-photo view (Settings › Slideshow) — it pairs two portrait photos side by side. Enjoy your moments!
