It works
Proton is no longer a trusted product. CEO Andy Yen has compromised the product. I was a subscriber for years, but I just canceled after learning about his treatment of employees and his encouraging insecure, unsafe practices relying on AI. This is neither a trusted nor an ethical product. If you care about privacy and security, look elsewhere.

The photos part of this app is unusable because it's insanely slow. I cannot just scroll through and glance at my photos. I have to wait minutes to view the photos on the screen. The website is also slow, but I'd say it's usable. I've been using the website instead of the app for viewing my photos. 2 stars because the rest of the app is quite nice. It does have a bunch of features.
With Andy Yen as CEO, this company should not be supported.

Love my proton apps and want them to stay secure. Andy Yen makes me nervous and needs to go.

some minor bugs, like offline Dpcs cannot load but I use Google docs for that
Still no folder sync functionality on Android.
Disappointed with the company's direction I've been a Proton user and have generally appreciated the privacy focus, but I'm extremely disappointed with the direction the company has been taking lately. It feels like priorities are shifting away from what originally made Proton stand out, and I'm not comfortable with where things seem to be heading. For now, I'm holding off on canceling, but I'm watching closely to see what happens next.

Stores files neatly and safetly away from data sniffers, hackers, etc who never have stolen accurate information from Proton in general because of Proton's knack for unfathomable encryption
