Turn a spare tablet or phone into a clock, weather and calendar display.

Got an old tablet or phone sitting in a drawer? Put it on the kitchen counter, by the door or next to your bed, and let it show the time, the weather and what's on today.
In DashDegu you build a dashboard out of widgets and place them on a grid however you like. Most widgets come in a few styles and sizes, and every dashboard can have its own theme. It works in landscape and portrait, on tablets and phones.
What you can put on a dashboard:
• A clock, digital or analog. The digital one can also show the date, seconds or the time in another city.
• Weather: the temperature right now, more details for today or a forecast for the next few days. In many places it also tells you when rain is about to start.
• Your calendar: today's date, upcoming events, the week or the whole month. It uses the calendars already on your device.
• A kitchen timer with 5, 15 and 30 minute presets, or any time you type in.
• Battery level, so you know when the tablet on the shelf needs charging.
You can leave a dashboard running all day with the screen kept on. Or set DashDegu as the screensaver in Android settings, and your dashboard shows up whenever the device is on the charger.
There's no account, no ads and no tracking. Your dashboards are saved on the device. The weather is the only part that goes online, and all it sends is the location of the city you picked. Calendar events never leave the device.
DashDegu is free. If you want more, there's PRO, a one-time purchase with no subscription:
• A schedule that switches dashboards during the day, for example a morning overview and a big clock at night.
• A sleep timer right on the dashboard: keep the screen on for a while, then let it turn off.
• More themes, including Void, which is pure black for OLED screens.
• The flip clock.
