First release. Sunrise, sunset, solar noon, golden hour, blue hour and all three twilights, for any date and any of 172 places. Everything is computed on the device, so it works with no connection and asks for no permissions. Far north or south it reports the midnight sun and the polar night.

Daylight tells you when the light arrives and when it goes, for any date and any of 172 places around the world, without ever going online. Every time is computed on your phone from the NOAA solar equations and the place's own coordinates and time zone. There is no weather service to call, no API key, no account. The app asks for no permissions, not even location: you pick your place from the list once and it is remembered. WHAT YOU GET FOR EACH DAY - Sunrise, sunset and solar noon, with the sun's highest angle - Golden hour, morning and evening, for photographers - Blue hour at both ends of the day - Civil, nautical and astronomical twilight, dawn and dusk - Total daylight, and whether today runs longer or shorter than yesterday, to the second A drawing across the top shows the sun's whole path for the day against banded twilight zones, with a marker for where the sun is right now. Step forwards and backwards a day at a time to plan a shoot, a drive or a fast. Far enough north or south, the app says so plainly: it reports the midnight sun and the polar night rather than showing a sunrise that never happens. Times are accurate to roughly a minute. Refraction close to the horizon shifts with the weather, which is the limit of any calculation of this kind. No adverts, no tracking, no accounts. Works offline, always.
