About this app
Measure download, upload, ping, and connection health on your network.
Internet Speed Test Internet Speed Test measures an approximate connection speed between your device and the ToolsLibrary test server. Start a test to see download speed, upload speed, ping, and jitter, then keep the result on your device. Results are approximate. They describe the path between your device and the test server. KEY FEATURES • Speed test — Start a test from the home screen when you are online. • Download and upload — See both directions from the same test. • Ping and jitter — Latency, and how much that latency varies during the test. • Connection health — A score with notes about what the test observed, such as elevated latency. • Connection reliability — The result can include a reliability estimate. That figure is not a laboratory packet-loss measurement. • History — Saved tests stay on this device. You can remove individual results. • Network information — Network type, link speed, frequency, and signal when Android provides them. A Wi-Fi network name is shown only when the system makes it available. This app does not request location permission. • Stability test — A short check of latency consistency using lightweight probes. It does not measure maximum download or upload speed. • ISP plan vs actual — Enter the download and upload speeds from your plan and compare them with a measured result. • Test spots — Names you choose, such as Home or Lounge, so you can group tests. The app does not detect your physical location. • Scheduled tests — Optionally run a test every day or every week. You can limit scheduled tests to Wi-Fi. A test on mobile data uses your data allowance. You can turn on a notification when a scheduled test finishes. • Share result — Send a result through the Android share sheet to an app you choose. • Trends and charts — Review saved download, upload, ping, or health over 7, 30, or 90 days, or all saved tests. Filter by network or test spot. • Devices on your network — See devices that respond on the local network you are connected to. A name is shown when that network provides one. • CSV and PDF export — Export saved history and share the file with an app you choose. • Help and support — Contact support, open the privacy policy in your browser, or open the Play listing to rate the app. The app sends HTTPS measurement traffic to https://toolslibrary.net when you run a speed test or a stability check. The upload uses generated test data, not your photos, messages, or documents. History, the plan you enter, test-spot names, and schedule settings are stored on the device. A network scan is kept while you are using that screen. Sharing and export happen only when you choose them. There is no account to create inside the app, and the app does not show ads.
