the map needs metrics on distance from user devices (like say my phone) and the other signals sensed (like elevation or at least simple 1 dimensional distance like google maps has (for when you click on a found signal) thanks!

Bad UI, poor user experience. Not enough control of filenames or where to put data files. Limited by phone's sample rate and caching, so the data is bad. Do not expect it to be as useful as scanning from another device. Edit: 1. Default screen has no easily clickable elements when holding with a single hand 2. Clicking no wifi symbol is how to start scanning. It represents state, not what it does 3. Notification continues to pop up after dismissing 4. Looks like it's drawn in crayon
Shows wifi SSIDs my regular phone WiFi doesn't. But it won't allow me to select and connect to any of them. Useless.

Sorry you're unhappy. This is a detection tool used by professionals and hobbyists to catalog networks, determine coverage, and map locations.-This is not NOT a network access tool and doesn't bill itself as one.
This app use to be good but the dev has become lame!! Someone should fork this project.

This app has become bad, because the developer doesn't understand that he needs to add the following permission option "allow GPS all the time". In any case I wish there was another app made by people who knew what they were doing. developer is an unfriendly dude.
