Fogos Portugal Wildfire Alerts

Fogos shows the active wildfires in Portugal on a live map and notifies you about fires in the places you choose. It is made for Portugal only, so everything in it is about Portuguese territory. What you can do - Live wildfire map: explore the active fires across Portugal, with the location and status of each fire. - Notifications for your areas: choose the counties, districts and villages you care about, or draw your own area, and get a notification when a new fire is reported there. - Alerts near me (optional, Android, off by default): choose a radius and get a notification when an active fire is near you. Your position stays on your phone. To warn you while the app is closed, you can allow location "all the time"; this is optional, and without it the alerts work while the app is open. - Fire chats (16+): every fire has its own chat where you can share updates and photos. The chats are moderated, and chat notifications are off by default. - Portuguese, English and French, with a language menu in the settings. - Free, with ads. An optional Premium subscription on Android removes the ads. Please note Fogos is not an official emergency service. Alerts can arrive late or not at all, for example when your phone has no connection or has restricted the app. In an emergency call 112. The official channels are 112 and ANEPC. Stay informed, stay prepared and stay safe with Fogos.
